Yield
Kollafjorður. Total yields (grass + weed) in Kollafjorður during the experimental period are
shown in Table 13. There was much more weed in this experiment than the others. All
replicates were harvested. In 1996, Seida was severely affected by leaf spot fungi, which may
explain the low yield that year.

Greenland. Total yield (grass + weed) in Greenland during the experimental period is shown
in Tables 14-16. All replicates were harvested in Narsarsuaq but only two in Upemaviarsuk.
Replicates 3 and 4 were not useable because of weeds (Alopecurus geniculatus). Yield of
Seida and Fylking was not measured in 1997 because of winter kill. However, samples of
Fylking were collected for chemical analysis.
