Dr. Guðrún Björk Guðsteinsdóttir is a Professor of English Literature in the Faculty of Languages and Cultures at the University of Iceland and the Director of the Literature, Culture, and Media Graduate Program. Her main research interests include Icelandic Canadian literature, cultural politics, multicultural literature, narratology, and cross-cultural mediation and adaptation of literature (including translation and teaching as well as story- telling through audio-visual media).
