wliere this fungus is mentioned, no host plant is given. Nor have I been
ahle to íind Karschia scabrosa in the Collection of Icelandic Fungi at the
Botanical Museum of Copenhagcn; but as two localities are given and E.
Rostrup states that he has seen specimens of the fungus from both
localities, tlicre can be no doubt that the statement is correct.
