MR. MONK GOES TO THE CARNIVAL
Tony Shaloub stars as the illustrious Adrian Monk...an obses-
sive-compulsive detective. After loosing his wife Monk
suffers from a psychological disorder that has cost him
his position as a legendary homicide detective on the San
Fransisco police force. Having developed an abnormal fear of
germs, crowds and heights, Monk finds himself in trouble in
this episode, as he investigates a murder on a ferris wheel.
COMEDY
Joey
Joey gets the chance of a lifetime to be a guest on “The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno” when a major movie star
cancels her appearance. However, on his way to the studio,
Joey becomes increasingly worried he won’t arrive on time.
When a big truck overturns on the freeway, Joey really
starts to panic. Jay Leno guest stars as himself.

Sound Check takes a look at the biggest icons of popular
music. This episode features Ray Charles, a short biography
along with concert performances from an artist who shaped
the sound of contemporary music.

ist with audacious confidence and a rare intuition – he seems
to be able to predict, suggest and control human behaviour. In
this episode Derren conjures up some tasty magic for Michel
Roux Jnr and baffles a butcher, a baker and a candlestick maker.

at the radio station and Robbie tries to get Tina to take it
easy. Providence gives us a whimsical-yet-heartfelt look at life
through the eyes of one of the freshest characters on TV.
