Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
Average Joe’s, a small local gym run by Peter LaFleur (Vince
Vaughn), is threatened with extinction by the gleaming sports
and fitness palace Globo Gym, owned and operated by White
Goodman (Ben Stiller). White wants to close and tear down
Average Joe’s and build a parking garage for the Globo Gym mem-
bers on the lot. Peter needs to raise USD 50,000 quickly in order
to save his gym from the claws of Globo Gym. This leads him and
his newly formed Dodgeball team to Las Vegas, where they enter an
International Dodgeball Tournament, where the winning prize might
be the one thing that could save Average Joe’s.

New York City is one of the most romantic places in the world
– especially when you’re falling in love for the first time. In this
movie we meet Gabe, (Josh Hutcherson) an 11-year old liv-
ing with his separated parents, played by Cynthia Nixon and
Bradley Whitford, on the Upper East Side, and follow him on
his bumpy road to love. Little Manhattan is a romantic comedy
about life, The Big Apple – and that mysterious, maddening and
wonderful phenomenon known as “first love.”
