Just like salt is an essential ingredient of every meal,
the SALT Lounge Bar & Restaurant has become an
essential part of Reykjavík’s dining scene. Located in
the chic lobby of the Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel, SALT
prides itself on using the freshest Icelandic ingredients
combined with international flavor and modern
cooking techniques. Lunch delights that will keep you
smiling all day include the mouthwatering kangaroo
salad with roasted nuts and goat cheese, preceded by
SALT’s seafood soup with garlic and coriander. Top it
off with the chocolate molleaux with vanilla ice cream
and your belly will smile too.
To keep the menu lively and fresh, the chefs at SALT
choose a new theme for each month. July will be
dedicated to salads while desserts and seafood will
be the focus of August and September respectively.
And October? Beer festival, of course.
