From the jury: The image depicts strong sentiments, common in sports. There is a fine line between
laughter and tears. The image is taken in a way that makes the viewer feel part of the crowd and
rejoicing with the girls.
From the jury: The photo shows the high drama and power of nature. The person in the image gives
the viewer a point of reference, thus, magnifying his experience. The photo processing fits the photo
especially well.
