Stormur carries the pace gene and has produced both five-gaited and four-gaited offspring. Export Hestar, the family business of Eysteinn Leifsson, sells and exports Icelandic horses to domestic and international buyers. Based in Mosfellsbær since 1995, Eysteinn makes the process of buying the right horse easy. He works with custom- ers throughout the entire process and helps buyers select the perfect horse for their needs. He also oversees the medical and transport details, as well as taking care of all the paperwork involved in exporting a horse from Iceland.
