The swimming area at Kópavogur has an abundance of services to offer, including an

large sauna, plenty of play areas for kids and an adjacent fitness center.

The Sandgerði swimming pool complex has a 25-m swimming pool, two water slides, a
wading pool, Jacuzzi, hot tub and steam room. The premises also include a fitness
center and sports hall.
The Garður swimming pool has a 25x8-m outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi,
hot tub, children’s wading pool, waterslide and steam room in addition to
great sunbathing facilities.

This popular pool complex has a wave pool—the only one in Iceland—a big waterslide, two
hot tubs, a children’s wading pool, sauna and steam room, in addition to the 25x12-m swim-
ming pool. A 12x7-m indoor pool is also on the premises. Good access for the disabled.
