The Icelandic Canadian, a distinguish-
ed quarterly published in Winnipeg for
the past 37 years, is a journal worthy of
your attention and support. As editor-
in-chief Axel Vopnfjord says: "Perhaps
the name should be The Icelandic-
North American, since our American
friends seem to be as interested in it as
the Canadians." Indeed, it is broad
enough in scope for that title, full of
historical accounts of Icelanders on the
whole continent, of poetry, book and
film reviews, of current affairs and of
people in the news who are of Icelan-
dic descent. For subscription, send $8
