Whil.e in Iceland in the sum- mer of 2002, I had the pleas- ure of a visit at her home with her family - husband Guy Stewart, son Maggi and nine- year-old daughter Sólveig. It was so good to see them - and learn all about their time since leaving Canada. Hulda worked as Assistant Editor at Lögberg- Heimskringla from 1988 to 1989. She was appointed Editor-in-Chief in 1989, with duties as office manager from 1990-1993. She also taught two courses at the University of Manitoba during her first two years at L-H. Hulda says that consequently, every job she has taken on since her time at Lögberg-Heimskringla has seemed easy by compari- son. She returned to Iceland in 1994 after seventeen years in Canada.
