Head of Library services
The Internationai Secretariar is recruiting
the position of Head of Library Service
Unit. We need an energetic and reader
servi ces-nnded i ibrar ian / inf ormat ion
speciaiist to set up and manage a new unit.
S/he wili be responsibie for deveioping a
coherent program of appropnate iibrary and
provision of access to on-iine information
databases.
The Head of Library Services Unit shouid
hava a professionai qualification in
Librarianship of Information Science, and
severai years experience, preferably in
specialist information unit. S/he must have
extensive experience of information
technology. S/he must be able to plan
his/her own work, and the work of others,
and must be sensitive to the needs of a
multiculturai organization. Excelient
English is essential, and a working
knowiedge of another ianguage is desirabie.
