74 ÁRDÍ S appropriately sized cross has been prepared to attach to the altar. A small railing surrounds both altar and pulpit. May I be excused if I add that we, of the Executive, of the Lutheran Sunday School Teachers’ Association would like to ask the delegates here, to prevail upon their Sunday School teachers at home to attend our Sunday School Teachers’ Rally at our camp on Saturday, June 27th, where an interesting and helpful program has been planned, and on Sunday, June 28th, when the dedication of our Outdoor Chapel takes place, (approximately 2:00 p.m.). All interested friends of the camp are also most cordially invited to attend this dedication. We will now move east to the dining hall and kitchen. The dining hall has a very fine supply of dishes, cutlery and glass-ware with seating capacity for one hundred people. The kitchen has adequate electrical appliances, and ample varied cooking and baking utensils, and a real must in camp — hot and cold running water. The well room is just out of the main kitchen and the water is excellent. Here, in this kitchen, is adequate dietary requirements, that can be prepared for all. A short way north now, is our Hospital Hut. A happy summer is a healthy summer. There is a registered nurse in charge to care for emergencies and give first aid. Although all campers must present a Medical Certificate when registering, we have to be on the alert for infectious diseases, accidents on water, and land, injuries and excessive sunburn. An accredited swimming instructor and life guard are on hand to supervise all water activities. A medical doctor is called whenever needed. Adjacent and west of the Hospital Hut is the Camp Staff House. On the beds in the staff house are found beautiful quilts made and donated to Sunrise, by different organizations of the Lutheran Women’s League. We move north now to visit the four dormitories •— two large and two smaller, cabin style. They are equipped with double decker beds, and good mattresses with adequate dressing, washing and toilet facilities. An electric iron is available to the girls, whenever they so desire. If we travel south-west of the Dining Hall, we come to the newest building, built only last summer, a Director’s Office, and residence.
