the air when the trio Glingur steps on stage

Two of Us will perform various folk pieces

17:00 Reykjavík Stories. Darren Fore-
man, an American actor living in Iceland,
gives readings from Icelandic poetry,
prose and plays in English. All the texts
have some reference to Reykjavík, but are

17:00 Turkish Tanoura Dance Egyptian
dancer Ahmed Fekry comes from Germany
where he lives and runs a dance school,
when he is not traveling the word to exhibit
and teach dances from the Far East. On
Culture Night, he well show a dance frome
Turkey called Tanoura, which is performed
by munks to reach a higher state of con-
sciousness Iðnó, Vonarstræti 3.

French atmosphere in Iðnó. Alliance Fran-
caise curates a night of music, poetry and
dancing in this old and beautiful house in
the heart of Reykjavík. Come and listen to
the sensual and entertaining program by
singer Adeline Moreau from Paris, along
with the sisters Herrera who play the cello
and the harp. Sólveig Simha and Marion
Herrera recite poetry and free-style on
the subject of intoxication. The event will
end with a dance with singer Hlín Péturs-
dóttir and accordion player Yuri Fedorov.
