TOE 'HOW* OF PUBLICATION — Members of Den 5, Cub
Scout Pack 394, toured the naval station printing
plant and the offices of the White Falcon last
Thursday to learn how a newspaper is produced.
The eight boys, accompanied by their den mothers,
saw how a newspaper is compiled and edited; and
then how the print shop is able to take the layout
and print the finished product.
R and R schedule for March lists two flights

A light R and R schedule has
been established for March with
only two flights logged in for
departure and return to Keflavik.
A C-118 will leave on March 7
Wiesbaden via Mildenhall with
e scheduled return set for March
10. Priority 4&5 bookings still
may be made this afternoon while
priority 6 bookings will run to
March 7.
On March 14, a C-118 will head
for Norfolk via Quonset Point.
The plane will depart Norfolk for
Argentia on March 15 and is sche-
duled to arrive in Keflavik on
March 17. Priority 4&5 bookings
will be taken March 8-12, while
priority 6 booking dates sure
March 8-14.
Limited bookings may be taken,
however, passengers are advised
of the possibility that return by
commercial means may be required.
Priority 4&5 personnel must
have two copies of IDF Form 21
filled out, plus one copy of their
approved leave request when making
bookings.
Passengers are reminded that
they must reconfirm in person one
working day prior to the flight
before 3 p.m.
‘International Brotherhood’ theme for court of honor
the last quarter was the Star
Award to Robert Goetz, son of Lt.
Cdr. and Mrs. Robert B. Goetz.
A large number of other awards
were earned by troop members.
Also issued were warrants for
troop offices.
As a fitting conclusion to Boy
Scout Week and the celebration of
the 61st birthday of scouting in
the United States, the court of
honor had as its theme, "Inter-
national Brotherhood." Sixty
members of three Icelandic boy
scout troops from Reykjavik were
honored guests.
The meal was typically Ameri-
can: hot dogs, baked beans, po-
tato chips and soft drinks.
Represented from Reykjavik
were the Sporrakar Troop 1, Minkar
Troop 2, and Bjorar Troop 3 of
the Skjoldungar Council.
The Icelandic scouts were ac-
companied by Olafur Asgeiksson,
assistant district commissioner
Boy Scout Troop 364 held their
first court of honor for 1971
last Saturday night.
The highest rank earned during
the Silver Award of Icelandic
scouting from Olafur Asgeiksson.
and national commissioner of
training; Kristofer Kristinsson,
assistant district commissioner,
and Helgi Eiriksson, scoutmaster.
Milton W. Kirkpatrick receives
the Silver Award of Icelandic
scouting from Olafur Asgeiksson.
