LACCO instructors needed
The Los Angeles Community Col-
lege is looking for interested
persons to teach in the following
areas of study: business manage-
ment, psychology, auto repair,
private pilots ground school,
(must be a licenced ground school
instructor. CFI); electronics,
air frames and powerplant mechan-
ics (FAA licenced).
There are several minimal re-
quirements needed to teach a
course. Six years experience
( concurrent experience) is required
to teach a course; an associate
degree and four years concurrent
experience in the field of study;
a bachelors degree and two years
experience in the field or a

A joint service ’Dining In’ was
held at the Officers' Club Satur-
day night from 6 p.m. to 10:30
p.m. It may have been .the first
joint service 'Dining In' ever held
in Iceland.

the 'Dining In' was conducted in con-
junction with Patrol Squadron Five.
One hundred and thirty-five
officers were present for the for-
mal dinner ceremony, including
over thirty British Royal Air Force
officers.
President of the 'Dining In'
was Colonel Paul D. Wagoner, AFI
masters degree in the field of
study or associated fields is
required.
Two officers and nine enlisted
of the Naval Facility Keflavik
were 'frocked' to their next pay
grade by Commander Richard Porter,
commanding officer of the Naval
FaciDitv in a ceremony held
Friday.
The two officers, Lieutenant
junior grade Pamala Kuhn, intelli-
gence officer, and Lieutenant
junior grade Susan Maybaum, main-
tenance and supply officer, were
frocked to lieutenant.

The 'Dining In' began with
cocktails and informal introduc-
tions. The president of the 'mess'
then opened the 'Dining In' and a
toast to dignitaries and others
followed. Formal introductions,
dinner and question and answer
games followed.
The guest speaker was Air Com-
modore J.M. Pack. Royal Air Force
Officer-In-Charge of the Central
Tactics and Trials Organization.
Air Commodore Pack delivered a
witty, yet profound speech, which

Radio/TV sports schedule
A traditional battle kicks off a
weekend of football action to be
covered on NBS radio and television,
Channel 4 brings televised
coverage of the Army, Navy battle,
at high-noon, Saturday. The Naval
Academy hopes to close out the sea-
son with a victory before heading
into post-season action.
NBS radio, 1485 on your dial,
takes over at midnight, Saturday,
with a game out in Denver's mile-
high stadium. The Broncos are play-
ing host to the Pittsburgh Steelers,
in a game that features two playoff
bound teams.
Irving Texas is the site, and
Channel 4 will be there for the Dal-
las, New England encjjunter. The
cowboys square off with the Patriots
at 12:35 p.m.
Sunday evening finds NBS radio
bringing the all-important battles
in the NFL. This is the final week
of action and there still are play-
off spots to be determined, so dual
coverage will run throughout the
night on three big games.
Starting at 6 p.m., the New York
Giants will lock horns with the
Philadelphia Eagles. Shortly
thereafter the Atlanta Falcons game
in St. Louis with the Cardinals will
begin, and be joined in progress.
The Minnesota Vikings put their
season on the line against the
Oakland Raiders, at 9 p.m. The
Vikings are vying for the NFC Cen-
tral Division crown 'in this skir-
mish. This game will also be
joined in progress.
The Monday Night Football game
of the week features the visiting
Denver Broncos on the Bay to take
on the Oakland Raiders. These two
AFC Western Division powers will
play at 9:05 p.m.
The NFL regular season draws to
a closedown in the Orange Bowl.
The visiting New England Patriots
will face the Miami Dolphins, in a
game to be covered by NBS radio,
Tuesday at 2 a.m.
