NCS wins Commodore's Cup
Rioto by J01 Howard Watters
Members of the Naval Communications Station smile signs of appro-
val after they were presented with the 1985 Commodore's Cup during
a recent ceremony conducted by Commodore E.K. Anderson, Commander,
Iceland Decense Force. They are, from left to right: Cdr. J.H.
Steele, Lt. E.J. Von Hagel, Ens. J.R. Toole, RMC R.L. Hitchock and
RM1 A.M. Saip.
The men and women of NAVCOMSTA captured the 1985 Commodore's
Cup with a total of 1753.7 points, over 800 points above the near-
est competitor. First place finishes in volleyball, bowling, and
golf and an overall strong intramural sports turnout by all-hands
contributed to the impressive victory.
