One of Reykjavík’s most tailfeather-shakingly fun bands takes
the stage at Loft Hostel in what promises to be a groovy night.
Boogie Trouble’s seven-piece disco ensemble is fresh off an
unforgettable performance at the Rauðasandur Festival and
looking to bring their tight rhythms back to Reykjavík. Keep
your ears open for their polished new single, “Steinunn (Sveitin
Kallar),” and possibly some more material from their upcoming
album. Also, their cover of Britney Spear’s “Toxic” is a perennial
crowd-favourite. Thankfully, they’re bringing their energy to Loft
Hostel, where even the weariest traveller will have a difficult time
standing still with their arms crossed. TC

All your fun friends are leaving town for the weekend but you're
stuck here alone. You love festivals but also value the comfort of
sleeping in your own bed at the end of a night out. So if you don't
fancy braving the elements, getting all of your clothes wet and
suffering from a sore back, but still want some fun, then this is the
festival for you! The 13th annual Innipúkinn will be held in both Húrra
and Gaukurinn, and it features a lineup you can positively lose your
shit over, and hard stretched to catch everything you fancy. SL
