Concert
Let Us Ignore Him
Iceland’s longest running metal festival, the
Anti-Christian Festival, traces its roots all the
way back to 2000 AD, when it was held to stick
it to a nearby Christianity festival at Þingvellir—
now it’s just sticking it to overly bland musi-
cal performances. This year, the Good News
includes premier black metal bands Abominor,
Auðn, Aureole, Mannveira and Misþyrming.
Don’t miss your chance to give it the right sort
of praise. RTC Photo by Art Bicnick
Anti-Christian Festival 2015
Gaukurinn, Tryggvagata 22 (D3) | 21:00 | 1,500 ISK
Kiasmos / M-Band
Kiasmos, Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen's
new minimal techno project, has been kicking
ass and taking names worldwide, and they have
one last show this year: here. Expect breathtaking
visuals and a thumping beat. They are joined by the
author of the best album of 2014 (in our humble
opinion): M-Band. Admission is 2,000 ISK.

Hið Myrka Man: Myrkramund
The dark and goth label Hið Myrka Man is hosting
a special New Year's ritual, showing us that new
beginnings are futile. New-wave poetry-punks
Kælan Mikla and gloomy minimalistic electronic
artist Dulvitund perform live.
