1 orka úr mismunandi orkulindum er umreiknuð í eina mælieiningu, eðlisfræðilega orkueiningu. Hlutfallsleg skipting orkunnar eftir orkugjöfum miðast
einnig við orkueiningar. The table shows primary energy measured in physical units and its breakdown by sources.
2 olíuígildi sýnir það magn olíu sem þarf til að gefa notendum sömu þjónustu og þeir njóta ef allt orkukerfið væri knúið olíu. oil equivalent shows the
amount of oil needed to provide the same amount of service, if the energy system were energized by oil.
