Cannot be referred to any species described in the literature, but as the treatment of the Galera species by the different anthors is very uncertain and dissimilar, it is difflcult to give any grounds for the establishment of a new species in this genus. 559. G. siliginea Fries, Obs. Myc. II, p. 168. Isafjörður [Gandrup], Akureyri [P. LJ. — On peaty soil. Edge of gills rather thick and somewhat fimbriflate. Colour of giffs b 6. — Spores ellipsoidal, smooth, yellow, germ pore absent, length very variable, viz. 10—15X6—7 ju. Cystidia at edge of gills rather variable in shape, but mostly elongate-flaskshaped with a swollen apex, 45—50 /t long, the greatest breadth near the base being c. 10 /t, the head up to 8 /t in diameter. Crepidotus Fries. 562. C. citrinus n. sp. On the island of Slutnes in Mývatn [P. L.]. — Grows on dead branches of Salix phylicifolia lying on damp ground.
