Icelandic Chocolate Tradition
Icelanders choose milk chocolate from Nói-Síríus
over all the other types of chocolate available in
Iceland.
Nói-Síríus are the largest sweets manufacturer in
Iceland. The company’s history stretches 80 years
back in time. During most of this period, Nói-Síríus
was in the hands of the same family. Originally, the
company only made hard sweets and caramels, but
it began to produce chocolate, baking chocolate,
chocolate-covered sweets, confectionery and Easter
eggs in 1933.
Nói-Síríus’ main goal is to make their customers feel
good. Customers can always trust that Nói-Síríus’
products are of the highest quality, and to test it,
they only have to try a piece of Nói-Síríus milk
chocolate. The taste says it all: high standards of
production, quality ingredients, precious experience
and decades of chocolate-making tradition. All these
factors combine to make a product which gives the
best international brands a run for their money.
