Danny Deckchair
A romantic comedy about Danny
who is a working class Aussie, fed-up
with his dull suburban existence and
selfish, workaholic girlfriend. One
sunny day, Danny decides to try and
fulfill his lifelong ambition to travel
by air, by tying helium balloons to
his deckhcair. He gets more than he
bargained for when, carried off by a
blustery wind, he lands hours later in
Clarence, a small town far from home.
He soon falls in love with Glenda, the
quirky local traffic cop and as the days
pass, realizes that he can be a bigger,
better person away from his old life.

fame, you must do something remarkable,
special or unique.
MOVIE:
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Steve Martin is Neal Page and John Candy is
Del Griffith in Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
The movie is an uproarious cross-country
comedy about two hilariously mismatched
travelling companions experiencing Murphy's
Law of American transportation.
All that Neal Page wants to do is to get home
to spend Thanksgiving with his family. His flight
from New York to Chicago has been cancelled
due to bad weather, so he decides on other
means of transport. As well as bad luck, Neal
is blessed with the presence of Del Griffith,
Shower Cutain Ring Salesman and all-around
blabbermouth, who is never short of advice,
conversation, bad jokes, or company. As Neal
attempts to find transportation home and
Del's advice propels them into one disaster
after another each more exasperating than
the one before the question becomes wheth-
er or not Neal will arrive home in time to
spend Thanksgiving with his family , or will he
spend it with this turkey?
SMOOTH JAZZ:
A calming mix of instrumental and vocal bal-
lads. The show is a combination of live inter-
views, biographies, concert footage and video.
