To take your own two-step back in time in
Iceland, head to one of the round-ups, or rét-
tir, this September, when the country’s horses
and sheep who’ve been out all summer cajol-
ing freely in the mountains are collected and
separated according to farmer. The system
has changed little since Iceland’s settlement.

tions is released at the end of August, which
you can find posted on bondi.is, the Farmers
