A supernatural mystery that combines romance,
politics and magic, The Illusionist is the latest film
from the producers of the Oscar winners Crash
and Sideways. The film stars Academy Award
nominees Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti as
two men pitted against each other in a battle
of wits: Norton as mysterious stage magician
Eisenheim, and Giamatti as Vienna’s shrewd
Chief Inspector Uhl, with Jessica Biel sharing the
screen as the beautiful Sophie von Teshen.

When the kids ruin Ray’s dictionary, Frank shares
how Ray ruined his prized jazz collection. Feeling
guilty about his childhood mistake, Ray brings
Frank a bag of CDs of all his jazz records, but they
wind up in the basement with a stack of electronic
gifts that Frank and Marie never use. Steamed
that his gifts have been discarded, Ray is further
dejected when Robert presents Frank with vintage
jazz albums and Frank reveals that he prefers the
records to the digital recordings.

Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) and his ace detective
against the criminal elements that befoul a big
city. In this episode, detective Drebin’s probe of
a revenge slaying leads him into a messy love
triangle in which he becomes entangled with a
vengeful ex-wife, a loose chorus girl and a cheap
ex-con.
