THE ACTRESS Brynhildur Gudjónsdóttir graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London in 1999 and is currently starring as Edith Piaf in a musical of the same name at Iceland’s National Theatre. It’s her dream role, and she has received rave reviews for her performance and faultless French accent, picked up whilst studying in the south of France. “I’ve lived in 101 Reykjavík since moving back to Iceland, for me there really was no other choice. I like living with a constant buzz of people around me and of course, it means I can walk to work. And although you’re smack in the heart of the city, nature is never far away.” IR In_reykjavik 11.6.2004 10:23 Page 15
