THE DJ “I’m not really a DJ. I just consider myself as the drunk guy replacing the CD player,” says Kristinn, the firm favourite of arty Reykjavík hang-outs such as Sirkus and Kaffibarinn. “I don’t have any particu- lar style, I just anything play I like at that moment– soul, hip-hop, rock, funk… anything to create a party feel. It’s total chaos actually.” Kristinn is one of those young Icelanders who seem to be doing a mil- lion different things at the same time. He’s the keyboard player of Ensími, a successful rock band, and he’s also putting out two solo albums this autumn. Two? “Yes, one is electronic music under the name of Unsound and the other features mellow acoustic guitar music under the name of Bob Bobjustia.
