Snapshot: The largest of the seven thermal
pools is situated in the
Laugardalur park. This pool buzzes with life,
regardless of weather. The 86-metre-long water
slide and the shallow wading pool are a hit
with children. Great place to meet locals and
tourists. Right next to Laugar, the new privately
owned gym.

Indoor and outdoor thermal pool
Snapshot: A new and creatively designed pool.
A fountain and imbedded sunbathing chairs
with Jacuzzi massage streams are situated in
the shallowest part of the pool. Great for kids.

VESTURBÆJARLAUG
Outdoor thermal pool
Snapshot: Vesturbæjarlaug is a homey thermal
pool with friendly staff and a welcoming
atmosphere. The pool is split into a ‘swimming’
section and a ‘playing’ section, and sunbathing
benches are lined up around the pool.

BREIDHOLTSLAUG

Snapshot: A small and cosy thermal pool where
inhabitants of Breidholt go to meet fellow

ty spirit if you visit Breidholtslaug.

Snapshot: The newest addition to the thermal
pool clan, and mainly visited by inhabitants of
Grafarvogur. A new heated children’s pool and
water slide have recently been added.

SUNDHÖLL REYKJAVÍKUR
Indoor thermal pool
Snapshot: The indoor thermal pool is a good
place for those wanting to do some real swim-
ming. It is also a good bet in bad weather.
Features: two hot pots and two changing
rooms.
