ÁA criMe PAys Writer Arnaldur Indriðason won the 7th edition of the RBA Internatinonal Prize for Crime Writing for his forthcoming novel Shadow Channel, or Skuggasund in Icelandic. The novel will be published simultaneously in Spain and Iceland in November. Arnaldur is among Iceland’s most prominent authors of crime fiction; his novels have sold more than 20 million copies and been translated into more than 20 languages. The winning prize was worth EUR 125,000 (USD 170,000). PS
