Based in Akureyri, North Iceland, Norlandair provides aviation
services in the challenging environment of the Arctic. Ser-
vices include both charter and scheduled flights on various
types of aircraft. In addition, Norlandair offers complete logistical
services, survey flights, medivac flights and SAR services.

– Iceland’s Northernmost Gem
Just north of Iceland’s coast lies the island of Grímsey, the coun-
try’s northernmost inhabited place, known for its varied birdlife,
rich fishing grounds and the Arctic Circle. Guided 1.5-hour tours
are included in the Arctic Circle package, as well as a certificate
for having crossed the Arctic Circle. During the flight to Grímsey,
enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of Eyjafjörður, Iceland’s
longest fjord.
Norlandair operates the Akureyri-Grímsey route three times
a week in winter and daily in summer in cooperation with Air
Iceland. Flight duration is 25 minutes.

– Arctic Adventure
Constable Point airport is located in Scoresby Sund, the world’s
largest and longest fjord system. Norlandair operates a scheduled
aviation service from Akureyri to Constable Point, to support local
tourism and take part in the increased activity in East Greenland.
Norlandair enjoys a long and fruitful collaboration with specialized
travel agencies, such as Nonni Travel, Paul Walker Tangent Expedition
Limited and North Sailing. The Scoresby Sund area offers breathtak-
ing scenery and wildlife, including the muskox, Arctic fox and snow
hare.
The adventurous traveler can sign up for traditional dog-sledding
trips and various mountaineering, kayaking, snowmobile or boat ex-
peditions to name just a few options.
Norlandair operates scheduled services between Akureyri and
Constable Point twice per week from March to May, weekly from June
to September and twice-monthly in winter.
Flight duration is 1.5 hours with the King Air B200 and 2 hours with
the Twin Otter.
