At Ölvaldsstaðir, located 7 km from Borgarnes, we offer one to
two-hour riding tours in beautiful surroundings on the banks of
Hvítá river, which flows from Eiríksjökull glacier. We have excel-
lent facilities in a brand new riding arena, specially designed for
wheelchair users and the disabled. We take pride in offering
specialist riding lessons to people with disabilities. Whether you
are a beginner or an experienced rider, we have the right horse
for you. During the summer, our riding school offers a five-day
riding school program for children and teenagers Monday-Friday.

Syðra-Skörðugil is a small family firm, offering great personal
service. We have a large selection of excellent horses for new
and experienced riders. You can select riding tours anywhere
from one to four hours around the beautiful Skagafjörður region.
A short ride to Glaumbær, the old turf house, is an attractive
option, including a visit inside the famous farm.
We also offer overnight accommodation for up to 14 people
in a recently-renovated house with kitchen, dining- and living
rooms. Includes a heated porch, gas grill and hot tub.

Kátur - Ferðafákar is located a short distance from Akureyri, the
capital of the north. We offer one to two-hour guided riding tours
every day for riders of all abilities. For larger groups, we adjust
our schedule to meet your needs. In addition, evening rides are
offered nightly, June 1-August 15. Our horses are well trained
and cared for. An optional pickup and drop-off service at your
hotel. Enjoy an unforgettable ride along the banks of the beau-
tiful Eyjafjarðará river, with a magnificent view of the mountains
and Eyjafjörður fjord.

Riding Tours
At Reykjavík Riding Center, we invite you to visit our first-rate
facilities, located at the largest equestrian center in Iceland at
Fákur. Our aim is to make your experience enjoyable by providing
you with excellent personal service. Beginners and advanced
riders can choose from six different riding tours into the red hills
of Rauðhólar. The riding trail takes you to Heiðmörk, a favorite
recreational area, or to the track where the Landsmót horse festi-
val was held in 2012, and will be again in 2018. To ensure a great
experience, we ride in small groups, giving you our full attention.
