Lögberg-Heimskringla • Föstudagur 16. desember 1994 • 19 Kirsten Wolf Receives Fellowship There are many professors who receive grants to do research, but the opportunity to also receive release time to complete a research pro- ject and publish is prized even more. Such is the case for three professors recently named 1994-95 Fellows of the Institute for the Humanities as a result of a competition held this spring. They are Professors Kirsten Wolf, head of Icelandic Studies; Herbert Weil, English; and Rosa Bruno-Jofre, of Educational Administration and Foundations. They have been given 50 per cent release time from teaching and depart- mental duties by théir respective facul- ties. Weil and Bruno-Jofre will have. full-time fellowships for six months, while Wolf will take a half-time fellow- ship for 12 months.
