Whether it's the catch of the day or a chicken pesto sandwich you're ordering, you can't go wrong! Skólavörðustigur 23 1 Krua Thai For quick, tasty and well-priced Thai food, stop by this family-run restaurant for reliably good and invigorating meals. Their cute harbour-adjacent location is both intimate and communal at once. Stay and enjoy the vibe or take your food to go, it will be deli- cious either way. 2 Gló Gló has been introducing Icelanders to healthy eating for several years, offering a simple menu of delicious food made from organic ingredients. Patrons have a choice between the raw, vegetarian (occasionally vegan) and chicken meals, each including a healthy portion of tasty salad, with the option of one of several chocolate cakes for pudding. Laugavegur 20b 3 Nora Magasin Hardwood tables, turquoise-blue walls, huge French windows, and funk music playing in the background — Nora Magasin has all the makings of a classy place. The food is entirely home-made and designed by an imaginative team that's always adding fun novelties to the menu. The bar is an ideal place to start the night, with a fine selection of wine, beer and delicious appetizers. The deep-fried chicken with house sauce and the peanut butter brownie are both a must-try. The best thing about Nora is definitely that it remains a homey atmosphere, always making you feel welcome. Pósthússtræti 9 4 Kaffitár Kaffitár on Bankastræti is a comfortable little café with a great selection of coffee, tea and baked goods on offer.
