22* Verslunarskýrslur 1976 marz 1966, sem fékk lagagildi með lögum nr. 76/1966, er mestallt, sem með þarf til byggingar álbræðslunnar, undanþegið aðflutningsgjöldum og söluskatti. Þar eð hér var um að ræða erlenda fjárfestingu og mikinn inn- flutning af sérstökum uppruna, var sá háttur hafður á 1967 og 1968, að þessi innflutningur var ekki hafður með í árlegum innflutningstölum Verslunarskýrslna. Hins vegar hefur hann frá og með 1968 verið meðtal- inn i mánaðarlegum innflutningstölum, birtum í Hagtíðindum, sjá nánar athugasemd neðst á bls. 69 í aprílblaði Hagtíðinda 1968. Að því er varð- ar birtingu í Verslunarskýrslum er hins vegar, frá og með árinu 1969, rekstrarvöruinnflutningur íslenska álfélagsins h.f. talinn með öðrum innflutningi, enda er útflutningur áls, sem hófst á hausti 1969, tekinn með öðrum útflutningi. Innflutningi til fjárfestingar er á hinn bóg- inn eflir sem áður sleppt i öllum almennum töflum Verslunarskýrslna. í inngangi Verslunarskýrslna 1967 og 1968 voru birtar sérupplýsingar um innflutning til íslenska álfélagsins h.f., sem á þeim árum var einvörðungu vegna byggingar álbræðslu. í inngangi Verslunarskýrslna hvert ár 1969— 1975 er birt sams konar yfirlit um innflutning þess fyrirtækis til fjárfest- ingar, en aidí þess er birt sérskýrsla með upplýsingum um rekstrarvöru- innflutning til álbræðslu, en hann kom fyrst til sögunnar 1969. Þær tölur eru, eins og áður segir, taldar með almennum innflutningi.
