After 13 years as President and CEO of the Canadian Mu-seum of Nature, Joanne Fredrickson DiCosimo retired on July 5, after transforming the Canadian Museum of Nature
into a national museum of natural science for the 21st century.
Joanne was Executive Director of the Manitoba Museum for nine
years before going to Ottawa.
Meet Miss Iceland
Guðrún Dogg Rúnarsdóttir (Miss Iceland 2009) is this
year’s Honourary Parade Marshall. Meet her at the park
in Gimli. She’ll be signing photographs on Saturday and
Sunday.
