Continuing east one can see a myriad of tiny waterfalls that decorate
the mountainside, and then, just as the landscape changes and
becomes flat, one arrives at Skógafoss waterfall. This 60 metre, per-
fectly formed giant has a hypnotising quality and one can stand for
hours on end just staring at the timeless flow of water resounding in
its baritone voice. A walking path leads up to the eastern side of the
waterfall where you can enjoy looking at it from a different angle.
