DVT
Deep vein thrombosis is a rare condition, but it can occur when sitting
for long periods of time. The condition involves slower blood flow due
to compression of the veins in the groin and behind the knees, and thus
a blood clot may form. In the modern world, many common situations
may increase the risk of forming clots, such as a long car or train ride,
or sitting at an office desk for an extended period of time.
