The biggest names in Icelandic pop
are preparing for one popalicious con-
cert at NASA this Friday, November 16.
Sprengjuhöllin has come into recent
fame in the past year with their close-
to-home musings on the Icelandic ev-
eryday, and have gained special recog-
nition since the recent release of their
debut album Tímarnir Okkar, which has
received shining reviews.
Jeff Who? climbed to the top of the
charts last year with their hit single Bar-
fly which is still circulating as a bar an-
them, and are now making their return
to the live music scene after a short rest
surrounding the making of their second
record which will come out next spring.
The pop charts mania surrounding
Motion Boys should be described with a
sensationalism similar to the rest. Their
hit single Hold Me Closer to Your Heart
has elevated them to semi-stardom in
the Reykjavík music scene and that
without a single release.
Tickets on sale now and available
for 1,500 ISK at midi.is, at Skífan and in
BT stores outside of Reykjavík.
