THE WHITE FALCON
March 5, 1971
Keflavik Bowling
Association
by Ken Gemsheim
Some people wonder what the
one dollar dues of the Keflavik
Bowling Association (KBA) does
for them.
The dollar one pays for mem-
bership in the KBA gives the bow-
ler an- insurance policy by link-
ing him with the American Bowling
Congress. The ABC gives its mil-
itary members a free membership
card only if the bowler is an as-
sociation member. The ABC port-
ion of the dues is wavied. A
civilian would have to pay $1.85
for membership in the KBA.
Each member's dollar goes to
the local associationfor improve-
ments. The KBA is here to help
the bowler but it also must be
helped by the bowler.
The KBA encourages attendance
at its meetings on the third Wed-
nesday of each month.
Any questions about the KBA
can be directed to Ken Gemsheim
at Ext. 7177 or 6238.
