den islandske akk./dat.-endelse -u. Den sidstnævnte mulighed får dog
sjældent støtte af andre svage femininumsformer i samme diplom, enten
fordi sådanne ordformer ikke forekommer i oblik kasus, eller fordi alle
ender på -u. Se DI 5:514, 1468, DI 5:756, 1474.
Ifølge ÅBM er verbet jjrykkja ‘ringeagte’ lånt fra dansk hvor det skal
være dannet efter (“lagab eftir”) et gammeltysk (“gir.”) ord; jf. mnty.
driicken, ohty. drucken. NÅN og Hq. mener dog at tilsvarende ord i øst-
nordisk, gida. thrykkje og fsv. thrykkia, snarest er en intensivdannelse til
det hjemlige ord (gida. thrughe, fsv. thrugha, svarer til isl. pruga). Ordet
er ungt i islandsk; det eneste belæg i diplomerne er fra omkr. år 1500: pv
villt pryckia og nidrbriota og ecki hallda mins herra kongsins bRief
DI 7:542, [1500] (stævnebrev). Ordet nævnes ikke i Fritzners ordbog,
og foruden ovennævnte belæg har ONP kun belæg fra 1500-tallet, fra di-
plomer og beslægtede tekster (1525-1537) og fra Reykjaholabok (c.

5.2.1 Tre vanskeligt tolkelige ordformer
I teksterne forekommer en del vanskeligt tolkelige eller problematiske
ord og ordformer. Af sådanne er der tre som muligvis kan være af mid-
delnedertysk oprindelse.
Den første er adjektivformen fdiska f.akk.sg. som er belagt i et skrif-
temål fra c. 1479: var eg j leyndum mins hiarta med angurligri wlfwdar
rot. klædandi svofdlska blidu andlitiins [...] DI 6:243, [1479] > c. 1750.
Det kan synes at være nærliggende at regne ordet for en bøjningsform af
adj.folskr ‘hidsig, brutal’, men dette synes dog ikke at passe fuldstæn-
digt ind i konteksten. Brevet er ganske vist en afskrift, og en skriveræn-
dring eller -fejl kan ikke udelukkes. Imidlertid skelner skriveren mellem
fonemerne /o/ og /o/ således at han bruger <6> og nogle gange <o> for at
betegne fonemet /o/, men altid <o> og (o) for fonemet /o/ hvilket støtter
den antagelse at ordformen ikke skal tolkes som en bøjningsform af
folskr,159 Det er vel muligt at man her har med adj./aMr at gøre (og da
