An experience not to be missed whilst shopping in the French
capital is the Bon Marché. This art-deco department store on the
left bank oozes elegance with sky-high prices to match. When
you’ve stocked up on your Agnès b and Kenzo, why not rest
retail weary limbs at their new and oh-so-trendy Délicabar.
Their idea: a new generation of quick snacks conceived by
Sébastian Gaudard, formerly at Parisian gourmet haven
Fauchon. The menu at Délicabar is as audacious as its funky
décor, with a quirky mix of sweet and spicy. The stunning inte-
rior was created by designer Claudio Colucci, and includes air-
balloon like lights floating under a huge skylight, smartie-
coloured chairs and glass sliding doors into a beautiful summer
garden. AMB
