Each member of our faculty is a specialist in his or her
particular field. Our Shorthand instructors devote all
their time to shorthand; our Typewriting teachers special-
ize in typewriting; the individual members of our staff
concentrate on the subjects in which they are best quali-
fied to instruct.
The fact that most of the men and women engaged in
of Advanced Scholarship
Commercial teaching in Winnipeg were trained at the
“Success” is a tribute of which we are justly proud. It is
of even greater significance to prospective students to
know that .there is available in Winnipeg the College
whose teachers hav.e become known as “teachers of
teachers” and that, without extra cost, they may receive
the superior instruction at The Success Business College.
Higher Standards and Independent Final Examinations
At the Success College, you will associate with young men
and women of Grade Eleven or University education.
Grade Eleven (supplements allowed) is our minimum
standard for admittance to Day Courses.
The Success College is a membeí of, and has been ac-
credited by, The Business Educators’ Association of
Canada.
The Board of Ehcaminers of The Business Educators’ As-
sociation of Canada sets all graduation examinations for
this College. The Board is appointed by the Association
and has full charge of all matters pertaining to setting,
marking, and reporting the graduation examinations for
all Colleges affiliated with the Association.
Accommodation for 500 Day School Students
i If the Success Business College had set its 1936 maximum enrollment
quota at 400, many of our students would have been obliged to wait for six
months or longer to enroll in our classes.
In 1936, the demand for Success Courses has been so great that our
classrooms had to be enlarged in order to accommodate our students. In
March of this year, 503 students were attending oúr Day Classes and our
combined Day and Evening attendance exceeded 700.
This College secures its large patronage through its ability to provide
thorough instruction, broad courses, and efficient service.
Active Placement Bureau
Supply and demand regulate employment conditions and, therefore, no
school can guarantee to place its students; but a good school will seriously
endeavor to place every graduate and worthy under-graduate.
For the benefit of our graduates and under-graduates, we operate a
Placement Bureau which registers students who are qualified for various
types of positions and introduces them to business opportunities. There is
no charge to the business public nor to the student for this service.

Most of the following “Success” courses qualify for a Graduation Diploma
of The Business Educators’ Association of Canada: (1) Shorthand, (2) General
Stenographic, (3) Civil Service Stenographic, (4) General Office Training,
(5) General Secretarial, (6) Executive Secretarial, (7) Business Administration,
(8) Accounting, (9) Dictaphone, (10) Comptometer, (11) Elliott - Fisher.
Special subjects may be taken, if desired. Credit is allowed for subjects covered
in High School and University.

FOR DAY SCHOOL $15.00 If you desire to enroll before August 24th, you may do so; the College will be open throughout the Summer, without interruption. FOR EVENING SCHOOL $5.00
Those who find it inconvenient to commence on or before August 24th may enroll later.
