Steclin is an eí'fective therapeutic
agent for infections caused by
niost gram-positive and gram-
negative bacteria, certain large
viruses, various Rickettsiae, and
Endamoeba histolytica. — Many
clinicians consider Steclin tbe pre-
ferred broad spectrum antibiotic,
particularly because it is lietter
tolerated and pruduces higher
blood and urinary levels than its
analogues.
Mycostatin provides antifungal
activity ío eliminate the danger of
nonilial overgrowth frequently
associated with tbe administra-
tion of ordinary broad spectrum
antibiotics. This overgrowth may
sometimes cause gastrointestinal
distress, anal pruritus, vaginitis,
and thruss; on occasion, it may
bave serious and even fatal conse-
quences.

Each Mysteclin capsule contains 250 mg. Tetr-
cycline Hydrochloride and 250,000 units Nystatin.
Minimum adult dose: 1 capsule q.i.d.
Supply: Bottles of 12 capsules.
