V’ball season

The four volleyball leagues
are at the half-way point, with
two of the leagues still undecided
as to winners.
Rockville and the 57th FIS,
two doormats in their respective
basketball leagues this winter,
are in the running for the first-
half championships in volleyball.
In the National League, Rock-
ville and Supply are virtually

Members of the first place team in the men's handicap bowling tourna-
ment are: Ken Gemsheim, Tom Harder, Boyd Swartz, Bud Hickenbottom
and Gerald Zameke. The team events were bowled March 20 and 21.
Bob Pratorius takes first #
in singles, all events tourney
Final results of the men's handicap bowling tournament read "Bob
Pratorius" last Saturday — in everything!
Bob took top honors with a 675 final series to lead Dale Bott's
655 and John McCarron's 649 for the best slice of over $1,000 in
prize money. His winnings to-
taled more than $180 for placing
first in the singles event, win-
ning all events — scratch and
handicap — and being a member of
the second place team in the team
events.
The awards were presented last
Tuesday in a ceremony at the 56
Club by the tournament coordinator
Ken Gemsheim.
