Runs March 30 at 21:00 Loft Swap till you drop This swapping event has very simple rules: bring your items (jewellery, books, clean clothes, etc.) and exchange them for free with objects brought by other people. Runs March 23 at 16:30 Loft Pub Quiz The quiz is hosted by Albert. Arrive early to get a good spot. Runs March 30 Reykjavík City Library, Kringlan ‘Í fullorðinna manna tölu’ This exhibit focuses on the Confirmation, with a host of items and gifts connected to the event on display as well as famous words on the ceremony. Runs until April 14 Mengi ‘The After Opening’ A live performance by Latvian artist, Lina Lapylite and the band Dora The performance is an experiment in otherness and beauty and is in connection with the group exhibition ‘Double Bind’ that opens at the Living Art Museum. Runs on March 5 at 21:00 ‘Opera / Trickster’ Opera plays with soap and radio drama using opera as a medium and exploring women in such media. Trickster consists of five artists with different backrounds in music, theater and art. The performers are researching the nature of emergent- form composition where they create forms together. Runs on March 11 at 21:00 ART OPENING & ONGOING And The Truth Will Set You Free 'Artmess' by Katrín Lilja Ingu Jónsdóttir Katrín Lilja Ingu Jónsdóttir guides us through her Art Mass, where guests are offered the chance to worship art in its many varied forms. There will be art psalms, sermons on art, and opportunities for people to confirm their belief in art. During the time of year that teenagers are having en masse Confir- mation ceremonies, Katrín points out through her performance art how absurd religious belief can be.
