OPENING & ONGOING
And The Truth Will Set You Free
'Artmess' by Katrín Lilja Ingu Jónsdóttir
Katrín Lilja Ingu Jónsdóttir guides us through her Art Mass, where guests are offered the chance to
worship art in its many varied forms. There will be art psalms, sermons on art, and opportunities for
people to confirm their belief in art. During the time of year that teenagers are having en masse Confir-
mation ceremonies, Katrín points out through her performance art how absurd religious belief can be.
She has performed the show in various art spaces on multiple occasions since 2009. GB
