Reykjavík is almost always completely empty this holiday week-
end. Húrra has therefore made it easy for those not travelling
the country to decide where to spend their time. Auður, Hildur,
Axel Flóvent, Friðrik Dór, Agent Fresco, Aron Can and many
more will be performing this year at Innipúkinn. The festival’s
name can best be translated as “couch potato.” This is the 15th
couch potato festival, and it’s become more and more popular
each year—the perfect place to get a glimpse of Icelandic mu-
sic culture and party like your couch-potato predecessors have
done for the last 14 years! GR
