The event features a performance by the Iceland Dance Company, the Russian Male Choir of St. Basil’s Cathedral, and dancer Erna Ómarsdóttir. 18.00. 14 May Close up – American Contemporary Art An exhibition of contemporary art in the US with works from Dunane Hanson, Andy Warhol, Felix Gonzales-Torres, Louise Lawler, and others. At the National Gallery of Iceland. 18.00. 15 May Twelfth Night – Rustaveli State Theatre Rustaveli State Theatre from Tbilisi, Georgia, performs at the National Theatre. 20.00. 48 A T L A N T I C A REYKJAVIK ARTS FESTIVAL The international talent that's appeared at the Reykjavik Arts Festival is staggering. Led Zeppelin. David Bowie. Leonard Cohen. Pavarotti. These are just a few of the artists who have passed through Reykjavík since the Arts Festival began back in 1970.
