105 COMEDY Frasier (For further information, see May column) ENTERTAINMENT Top Gear Top Gear is the UK's premier motoring show. Consistently BBC2's most-watched program, it attracts audiences of nearly four million each week. It could be said to be the ultimate boys' club, but also one that through its tone and style is acces- sible to everyone – 40% of viewers are female. In this episode the boys get to grips with farming as they test-drive a group of tractors, and actress Kristin Scott Thomas is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. MOVIE Wild Hogs This rollicking comedy-adventure follows four frus- trated middle-aged suburban friends, Woody (John Travolta), Dudley (William H. Macy), Bobby (Martin Lawrence) and Doug (Tim Allen) as they hit the open road on a freewheeling motorcycle trip in search of adventure. When the guys encounter a Hells Angels-style gang of bikers menacing a small town, their carefree adventure soon becomes a journey they will never forget. COMEDY Everybody Hates Chris When Chris's mother, Rochelle, hires the girl next door, Keisha, to tutor Drew in math, Chris sees this as an ideal chance to impress her. But some- one else may have the same intentions. Meanwhile, Julius finds himself in an awkward position when he becomes attracted to another woman, Sheila. COMEDY Frasier Frasier and Roz prepare to spend a week broad- casting from Spokane, a new market for the show. Frasier is greeted in Spokane by Herm, the station manager. To Frasier’s surprise, all the reporters want to ask him about is how he feels about taking over the time slot of long-time local – and much loved – radio personality Sully. Martin brings home a piece of mahogany from which he plans to make a coffee table, Niles remembers miserable times in childhood being forced to “assist” his father with woodworking projects. Daphne admits that she enjoyed helping her own father with such projects and volunteers to help Martin. Enter Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore), Alex's beguilingly quirky plant lady, whose flair for words strikes a chord with the strug- gling songwriter. COMEDY Everybody Hates Chris (For further information, see June column) MAY COMEDY The King of Queens When Doug and Carrie's new sophisticated neighbors overhear them in a heated argument, Carrie goes over- board to convince them that she and Doug don't con- stantly fight. MOVIE First Knight First Knight is a sweeping romantic epic about love, honor, betrayal and passion in the legendary enchanted Kingdom of Camelot. Based on the classic tale of King Arthur (Sean Connery) but with a twist – it's told from the perspective of the rogue knight, Lancelot (Richard Gere).
