The facilities at Salalaug pool include a 25-m outdoor pool, excellent for lap swim-
ming, a waterslide and fountain, two hot tubs, a whirlpool and steam room, in addition
to a large indoor pool. Accessible by bus from Reykjavík.

The swimming area at Kópavogur has an abundance of services to offer, including an
Olympic-size pool, two indoor pools, three waterslides and seven hot tubs. There’s a
large sauna, plenty of play areas for kids and an adjacent fitness center.

This popular pool complex has a wave pool—the only one in Iceland—a big waterslide, two
hot tubs, an ice bath 4-6°C, a children’s wading pool, sauna and steam room, in addition to
the 25x12-m swimming pool. A 12x7-m indoor pool is also on the premises. Good access for
the disabled.

This popular pool complex features a state-of-the-art 25-m swimming pool, a 50-m
indoor Olympic pool and three hot tubs: two traditional ones and a Jacuzzi, which is
slightly cooler. The complex also features a steam room, sauna, children’s splash pool
and three water slides. At the 12-m indoor pool, test your skills on the wipeout lane.

The Varmá sports center features a 25-m outdoor swimming pool, 1-3-m deep. It also
has a Jacuzzi, children’s splash tub and hot tub of 40-42°C, sauna and an ice-cold tub,
designed to soften stiff muscles. The area also has a campsite and a Viking playground.
